Today mad rush for AWP prep etc and if I get any worse on the migraines, I’m going to need a new head. I want the next head to have a bigger brain, long curly hair, cuter face, smaller nose, angelic features, come hither look, basically look like a model, huge eyes, long lashes, perfect skin, oh and whatever that helpless look is that guys like, let me have that on my new head that doesn’t get wildly insane year long migraines.
Yesterday we went to London Bridges at the Los Angeles Master Chorale which was wonderful. Grant Gershon at his best. We were with our friends Vicky Kirsch and Michael Alexander who we met at a wonderful meeting years ago with most of the arts leaders of Los Angeles. Dana Gioia led the meeting. Michael is an absolute prince.
The Master Chorale was at its best covering the English choral tradition with almost no instruments with the exception of some organ music. This was Disney Hall and Grant and what you dream of in a chorus, melting, smooth, elegant, rapturous.

We went afterwards to one of Little Tokyo’s many sushi bars, Oomasa where I love the staff and the service and we had a great meal and an even better conversation.
